In my series “Centered”, I explore the interplay between presence and absence. Blackened iron frames and cut-out, colored plastic plates come together to form striking structures. At their center, an empty space is deliberately left open not as a void, but as an essential part of the composition.

Material and emptiness enter into a dialogue: the strong presence of the materials simultaneously makes the absence visible. Only through their interplay can the work be fully understood.
