marks a turning point—not only in outward appearance but in the very core of a person’s self-understanding. Hair is more than ornament. It is identity, pride, protection, and a canvas for society’s expectations. Its loss often signifies a rupture, a fracture in the continuity of the self.
But within rupture lies the beginning of transformation. A moment when alternative hair is not merely a replacement but a reinvention.
